After being at DN for about a year I was asked to step in as
Technical Product Owner working alongside the current Product Owner
for the site team running dn.se and related products and services.
The team grew fast during a period causing to much workload for a
single PO. I worked with the technical side mainly focusing on
bringing several products to inhouse development/maintaining instead
of being scattered across different external consulting agencies. My
day to day included being involved in several projects including
moving to a new subscription system for Bonnier News Tech,
introducing a Marketing Automation system, increasing the customer
experience using targeted marketing & functions and working
closely with several stakeholders including editorial, advertising,
customer services and customer experience.
Crucial skills included project management, team management, system
integration, technical leadership and managing stakeholder
expectations.
After six months at DN I was asked to take over as project manager
for kund.dn.se, the customer service page handling subscriptions and
customer support errands. I managed a team of three developers based
in Hanoi working full time developing a new version of the site.
Responsibilities included project management, team management,
technical lead, developing and working closely with stakeholders.
My first assignment at Dagens Nyheter was as Tech Lead for the
frontend team running dn.se. The assignment quickly turned in to a
lead role maintaining the current production site while parts of the
team moved to developing a new site from scratch using newer
technologies. As the old site was phased out my role also shifted
towards working with the new site.
Technologies included ES6, vanilla JS, Mithril, Webpack and ASP.net.
During my short assignment at ATG I worked as a frontend developer
in one of five cross functional teams together with backend
developers, UX, testers and one scrum master. Our assignment was
developing and launching a new product for ATG called Trio.
Technologies
used was React, Redux and CSS-in-JS.
At Another State I worked as a senior web developer and tech lead being involved early in projects for high profile clients. I worked tightly with the project leaders / key accounts making technical choices. Projects were based on ES6 and Angular with SASS.
Currently working as a frontend development specialist consultant
with Utvecklarbolaget. My assignments have been frontend focused,
mainly using technologies such as React, Angular, Node, Mobx, C#,
Styled Components and ES6. Lately I've gravitated towards more lead
assignments, starting as Tech lead and moving on to project manager
and product owner.
Crucial skills include high technical expertise in frontend
development focused on React and Mobx, working agile with scrum
methods and managing projects using lean/SAFe methodology. Tools
include Jira, Azure Devops and Trello.
During my brief period at Adrecord I mainly worked with the frontend
of a system developed to administrate their affiliate marketing
solution. I also developed the base of an intranet for the key
accounts to handle all aspects of their clients and perform
otherwise time consuming routine tasks like exporting email
addresses for marketing purposes etc.
I mainly worked with PHP, MySQL, Mongo DB,
Javascript and
LESS/CSS.
In my position as web developer at Strateg I mainly worked with
implementing sites in Wordpress, Sitevision and other custom
CMS-tools. I also developed several custom systems for event
registration, document handling, content delivery etc.
I was in charge of app developing, creating universal apps using
tools such as Phonegap and Sencha Touch which was then deployed to
App Store and Google Play.
In my position as web & systems developer at Flex Datasystem I was in charge of one of our main products which was a web frontend for a time management system. I developed it using ASP, javascript, VBScript, HTML and CSS. I was also part of developing the backend system using VB6.
I was at Micro Data for two years working as a web developer, systems developer and web designer. I was in charge of one of Micro Datas main products, a system for handling digital archives. I developed it using PHP, javascript, HTML and CSS.
I founded and maintained my own mail order company selling extreme sports gear, mainly for BMX, MTB and skateboarding. I developed my own webshop from the ground up complete with full backend with stock handling, order handling and so on. I handled all customer contact, orders, customer complaints, shipping orders etc. I later sold my part in the company but it still exists at www.rite.se and locally in Örebro.
This was an extension of my earlier education here, focusing on development using .NET, E-commerce and more modern technologies.
This was a two year program focusing on programming and systems development, but also contained network administration, database administration, hardware, service, e-shop etc. We also had three separate periods where we were stationed on companies in Örebro doing actual work.
These are skills I consider myself having extensive knowledge in. I have been using these skills pretty much daily for many years.
These are skills I consider myself having a basic to good understanding of.
